Acutret 30 Capsule contains Isotretinoin 30mg, a powerful oral retinoid derived from Vitamin A, used for the treatment of severe nodular or cystic acne that has not responded to conventional therapies including antibiotics.
How It Works: Isotretinoin simultaneously targets all four major factors in acne pathogenesis — it dramatically reduces sebaceous gland size and sebum production, normalizes follicular keratinization, inhibits C. acnes colonization, and suppresses inflammation.
Common Uses: Severe recalcitrant nodular acne, cystic acne, acne conglobata, and moderate acne that has failed antibiotic and topical treatment courses.
Administration: Take orally once or twice daily with food (a fatty meal improves absorption). Dosing is weight-based over a cumulative treatment course of typically 4–6 months. Strict pregnancy prevention is mandatory throughout treatment and for one month after.
Storage: Store below 25°C in original packaging. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
