Geftinat 250 MG Tablet contains Gefitinib 250mg, a first-generation EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor used as first-line treatment for EGFR mutation-positive non-small cell lung cancer.
How It Works: Gefitinib reversibly inhibits the tyrosine kinase domain of EGFR (HER1), blocking downstream RAS-MAPK and PI3K-AKT signaling pathways that drive cancer cell proliferation in EGFR-mutant tumors.
Common Uses: EGFR exon 19 deletion or L858R mutation-positive locally advanced or metastatic NSCLC as first-line therapy or after chemotherapy.
Administration: Take once daily with or without food. Swallow whole with water at the same time each day. Treatment continues until disease progression or intolerable toxicity.
Storage: Store below 30°C in original blister packaging. Protect from moisture and heat. Keep away from children.
