Ivermint 12 Tablet contains Ivermectin 12mg, a standard-dose antiparasitic tablet for the effective treatment of strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, scabies, and lymphatic filariasis using the established weight-based single oral dose approach.
How It Works: Ivermectin potently and selectively binds glutamate-gated chloride channels in invertebrate neurons, causing sustained ionic influx, membrane hyperpolarization, and irreversible paralysis of susceptible parasites.
Common Uses: Strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, scabies (classical and crusted), head lice, lymphatic filariasis, and tropical eosinophilia.
Administration: Take as a single fasted oral dose with water. Dosing is weight-based. Repeat doses may be required for scabies at 2-week intervals or for chronic filarial infections.
Storage: Store below 30°C away from light and moisture. Keep in original packaging out of children's reach.
