Vermact 12 MG Tablet contains Ivermectin 12mg, a well-established antiparasitic agent used in the treatment of strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, and scabies, offering effective single-dose parasite clearance.
How It Works: Ivermectin binds with high affinity to glutamate-gated chloride ion channels in invertebrates, causing sustained channel opening, hyperpolarization of nerve cells, and death of parasites through neuromuscular blockade.
Common Uses: Strongyloides stercoralis infection, onchocerciasis, lymphatic filariasis, scabies, head lice, and intestinal helminth co-infections.
Administration: Take a single oral dose on an empty stomach. Weight-based dosing at 150–200 mcg/kg applies. Take with water and avoid food for 2 hours before and 1 hour after administration.
Storage: Store below 30°C away from moisture, heat, and light. Keep in original packaging out of reach of children.
