How It Works: Ivermectin binds to glutamate-gated chloride channels in invertebrate nervous systems, causing sustained hyperpolarization and irreversible neuromuscular paralysis of susceptible nematodes and ectoparasites.
Common Uses: Scabies, strongyloidiasis, onchocerciasis, lymphatic filariasis, and other ivermectin-responsive parasitic infections requiring weight-based mid-dose tablet formulation.
Administration: Take on an empty stomach with water as a single dose. Your physician will calculate the tablet count based on body weight. Repeat dosing may be required for scabies or filariasis.
